The students have all received the oral exam outline and explanation AND cheat sheet.
(UN PORTRAIT) This is work to be done at home as homework (approx 30 minutes per day). IF the students are organized and follow the outline, they should be very successful.
I encourage everyone to finish their oral exam (Un Portrait) by Friday night, so that they have time to practice it really well and often (SILSIP!)
Oral exam presentations begin next Wednesday during lunch times. Students sign up for a 10 minute slot.
This week-end, students should also practice presenting the key information about their city. Villes - Students all prepared a brochure (electronic), so they should have full access to their own information.
I want them to communicate their information in simple, clear sentences.
On Monday during class, I will give them some time to practice presenting their Paris monuments. They will present these on Tuesday, in small groups.
Performance task: All week, we are working on PARIS - le métro, les auberges de jeunesse, les restaurants et les attractions touristiques / monuments.
Students must submit all work at the end of each class.
Next Monday - lundi le 12 janvier - Presentations en groupes des villes (Tours, Strasbourg, Rouen, Nimes, Carcassonne) - In small groups, everyone will present their own city and take notes about the other cities.
